YIKES!
Today I took the kids to go on a bike ride-but lo and behold there was a for-real "all-terrain" bike race going on on our normal "path", but that was cool for the kids to see real riders/racers. It's been raining here (as you can see) so it was very muddy and we saw some peeps wipe-out.
This afternoon O. got to go with a friend and his Dad on a "man hike" to some old castle ruins. They walked an hour there and hour back. They played "knights" and fought with swords and built a mini-campfire and "repelled" down some hole?? Isn't that an awesome afternoon adventure for a 4-yr. old boy? =) ...ah...
