Halloween

Well...we tried. We told the kids we needed to check out something. We were very non-descript to try to avoid disappointment and it was a good thing because we went to the place where they were supposedly doing something for kids for Halloween, but the doors were locked and no signs of anything going on. We drove around the town to see if there was a gathering anywhere else, but we didn't find anything. Perhaps we were "lost in translation". Anyway- Jill had purchased little treat baggies for them so she gave them to the kids when we returned home. She explained they just don't dress up and go trick-or-treating here and once the kids saw their candy they were a.o.k. with it =)

p.s. Did I say today looked like it would be a sunny day? Nope. There's hope for tomorrow, though-so says the weather forecast on my computer =)
